Nathan Beretta, a luminary in the Australian blues scene. With fifteen years experience of performing Festival stages, bars and clubs, Beretta is regarded as one of Australia’s top blues guitar slingers. Not only does Nathan deliver the blues with authenticity with his guitar, he is also equipped with true powerhouse vocals range. Nathan’s journey into the music industry began with his first band Blue Eyes Cry. With Blue Eyes Cry’s debut album holding top of charts for 3 months and winning multiple awards, Since Blues Eyes Cry the Nathan Beretta band has recorded two records with the debut album hitting No.1 on the Australian Blues and Roots Charts. Love Taxman is Beretta’s second release in 2024 and has also hit No.1 !
Throughout his career, Nathan has had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of Australia’s most esteemed musicians, including Robert Susz of Mighty Reapers fame, Shane Pacey from Bondi Cigars, Geoff Achison, Lloyd Spiegel, and the late Chris Wilson, among others. His performances at festivals have not gone unnoticed, opening for international acts like Anne Popovich, Jon Cleary, and Joe Louis Walker.
Drawing from a rich musical upbringing steeped in blues, jazz, and soul, Nathan brings a unique flair to his craft. Influenced by Legends such as Ronnie Earl, Albert Collins, Guy King, and Jimmie Vaughn, Nathan’s playing exudes soulfulness and authenticity, adhering to an “all killer no filler” philosophy.
