The Angels and Oils Tribute Show

After a run of successful shows around southern Queensland, the brains behind the Head Injuries Midnight Oil Show have decided to add another exciting element to the production …. get ready for a huge night of entertainment. Introducing ‘THE ANGELS AND OILS TRIBUTE SHOW’.

Audiences can now be floored by the dynamic and expressive moves reminiscent of Garrett and the Oils and back that up with the sound of Aussie rock legends The Angels.

Venues everywhere will now get two legendary Oz tribute bands for the price of one …. and not just any bands either. Two of the most incredibly energetic and dynamic tribute rock bands ever to grace the live stage, The Angels and Midnight Oil. The night will consist of hits galore, including Beds are Burning, Blue Sky Mine, Power and the Passion and everything else you expect from the Oils and then get set for Take a Long Line, Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, Marseilles, Coming Down, We Gotta Get Outta This Place and heaps more.

NEWS FLASH …The show has just got bigger

Amy is most excited to announce she has been cast as her ultimate Rock Idol, honouring Chrissy Amphlett in the Divinyls Tribute Show “I Touch Myself On Tour!”

Amy is her biggest fan & has studied Chrissy meticulously; nailing her sultry rock vocals, her infamous moves & rebellious brat attitude.

80’s guitar hero Chris Goodridge (formerly BB STEAL) stands and delivers the rock super  skills of Chrissy’s backbone Mark McEntee. Technically trained as a jazz musician by Don Andrews & George Golla, Chris plays homage to the signature Divinyls sound flawlessly and the ladies love his leather pants + rock god attitude. Together with John Kirk- Bass (Previously Uncanny X Men ) Jim Cowling- Drums, Clinton Cox-Keys…

This swagger of All Star Musicians can be found, under the same management as The Angels Tribute Show sold together as a complete package of two Australian Rock legends who experienced “too much too young” and are gone too soon.

A night to remember celebrating some of the best tunes Aussies have ever penned.
