Fella Felafel
Introducing Fella Felafel, a 3piece grunge/rock covers band from coastal Port Macquarie, NSW. De-bunking the traditional cover band template and resurfacing the songs that navigated us through our acne – the songs that made us who we are. A salute to all the great tunes that hit the airwaves through the nineties, naughties and onwards. Tunes that charted and captured the hearts of the thinkers but weren’t murdered by radio or exploited by television… well, maybe a few for good measure – but even they won’t make you vom in your mouth.
The trio – Dusty, Ash & Jordan – rock punters back to another time, a time before smart phones, the Kardashians, and when cargo shorts were acceptable to wear in public…. ahh, what a time to be alive! A reconnection to the greatest bands, music + anthems of the 90s and 2000s – inspiring plenty of nostalgia, sing[1]along and a whole lot of dancing.
Thick, punching bass lines weaving in and out of soaring guitar solos, wrapped in amazing melodic vocal harmonies combine for a show that always leaves a chanting crowd at “last drinks” – just like the real deal – we are the alternative.
